Abstract

596,818. Lipstick &c holders. BOOK, C. R. July 17, 1945, No. 18251. [Class 18] A holder for a stick of cosmetic and comprising a cup shaped carrier 14 mounted so as to move endwise in an inner cylinder 27 in turn rotatably mounted in an outer cylinder 12 has a lug 40 formed at the free end of a spring tongue 38 integral with the carrier 14. The lug 40 passes through a slot 19 in the inner cylinder 27 and through a slot 29 in the outer cylinder 12. Each of the slots 19, 29 may be of helical form as shown, or one slot may extend lengthwise of the holder. A deep removable cover may fit over the outer cylinder so as to conceal the slot therein. Specification 588,945 is referred to.
