[Class 20(i)] The component parts, top, bottom, and sides, of a storage bin are each formed on some or all of their edges with a bent over edge or channel whereby some of the parts are inter-engaged directly while certain others are joined by independent elements engaging the channels on adjacent edges of the parts. In the embodiment described the parts are assembled by first joining the front 3 with the base 2 by engaging the channels 2<1> and 3<1>. The top 1 is then similarly joined to the front by the channels 1<1> and 3<2>. The sides 5 and 6 are then connected by engaging the channels 5<2> and 2<2>, 6<2> and 2<3> and the edges 5<1> and 6<1> with the channels 1<2> and 1<3> respectively. The back 4 is then engaged with the top and bottom by the channels 4<1> and 14, 42 and 24 and finally the bin connected at the corners by independent elements 13 engaging the channels on the vertical edges of the sides, front and back. The lower ends 13<1> of the elements 13 are then bent over and the top ends welded or bolted to secure the structure permanently. The top is fitted with a hinged lid 12 for filling and the front with a door 7 sliding in guides 8, and a baffle 10, also supported on brackets 10x on the sides of the bin.
