Abstract

578,294. Spring floors. LARSEN, B. V. Oct. 3, 1939, No. 27104. Convention date, Oct. 12, 1938. [Class 20 (iv)] In a spring floor comprising resilient planks or the like 6 resting on supports 2 and carrying at one position . only along their span the floor joists 1, the planks 6 taper from this position towards the supports. Wood-strips on rubber buffers under the planks limit their downward movement. In place of wooden planks steel strips may be used. To allow planks of greater span to be used they may be arranged obliquely to the joists, or those supporting each joist may extend substantially up to the joists on each side of it and alternate with the planks supporting these joists.
