578,003. Alloys. ALEXANDER, W. O., STEADMAN, C. S., and IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. July 5, 1944, No. 12787. [Class 82 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] Sheets, strips or tubes of a copper base alloy which may be coated with nickel or nickel base alloy and brazed in the making of heat exchangers, comprise copper with either 0.01-1 per cent of chromium, 0.005-1 per cent of silver, 0.1-2 per cent of cadmium, 0.01-0.25 per cent of phosphorus, 0.01-1 per cent of zirconium, 0.2-2.5 per cent of cobalt or two or more of these elements.
