577,377. Stays. WORCESTER WINDSHIELDS & CASEMENTS, Ltd., and JONES. A. E. E. Sept. 21, 1944, No. 18001. [Class 65 (i)] A stay, particularly for a vehicle windscreen, which is pivoted at one end, with means for holding it in various positions, has at the other end a pair of rollers engaging opposite sides of a bar carriec by the moving member. In the form shown the bar 14 is formed of sheet metal and the rollers 11, which are grooved to fit the bar, are carried by a member 9 pivoted to the stay-bar 2 so that they engage the bar closely without binding in any position. The rollers may be of metal, fibre, or rubb er and may be mounted on flexible sleeves.
