574,206. Strainers. SLINGSBY, T. J. L. Jan. 15, 1944, No. 813. [Class 46] [Also in Group XXVIII] A pipe-line strainer for extracting solid particles from gases or liquids comprises a body C containing a detachable grid E, and formed with a well to collect the solid matter. The grid is held in place by projections F and a screwed plug G. The top D of the body is extended upwardly to overlap the grid. In a modification the inlet to 'the strainer is at the top of the body C.
