562,464. Seed sowing devices. BELL, F. S. W. March 22, 1943, No. 4638. [Class 18] A device for use in sowing seed consists of a metal tray a with upturned edges and with an egress aperture at e, adjustable main and subsidiary obturators g, m of strip metal and leaf spring respectively being provided to regulate the flow. Obturator m is intended to be moved by a finger of the hand holding the device to cut off air flow when this is too rapid. A projecting tongue p may be provided and the bottom may be corrugated. The subsidiary obturator may be a pivoted or slidable plate, preferably spring influenced.
