Abstract
561,712. Delivery container for pills and other small articles. SUMNER, W. Nov. 30, 1942, Nos. 17037 and 18092. [Class 18] A portable container for a single layer of pills, tablets, pellets &c. is arranged to deliver the articles one at a time by means of an angularly-movable spring-controlled member 8, Fig. 1, or 31, Fig. 9, on actuation of a fingerpiece 13, Fig. 1, or 33, Fig. 9. In Fig. 1 a cup 9 containing one article is projected through an opening 11 and returned by a spring, 12. In Fig. 9 opening 26 is unmasked by relative rotation of two shells 24, 28, the parts being returned by a spring 35 which also retracts a member 31 to permit another article to assume a position opposite the exit. In another form the member 8, Fig. 1, has the arm carrying the cup 9 omitted and the delivery opening is vertically beneath the remaining arm of member 8 so that on actuation of finger-piece 13 an article is positively impelled through the outlet.
