Abstract

569,479. Pliers. OLSON, J. June 16, 1943, No. 9668. [Class 61 (ii)] Work-holding pliers comprise a pair of jaw members with screw-adjustable gripping mem. bers 18, one or both of which jaw members are pivoted as at 7 to an extension 8 of one of the handle members 1, and the jaw members being actuated by means of toggle links 10, 11 and link 14 connected at 15 to the other handle 2 connected by means of a middle projection 3 and pivot 4 to the handle member 1. The jaws are opened by pressure on one end of the handle 2 and closed by pressure on the other end.
