Abstract

567,626. Agricultural implements. KENDALL, R. G. Aug. 13, 1943, No. 13137. [Class 6 (i)] The mole 1 is of rectangular cross-section and of increasing thickness from front to rear. The nose G is more steeply inclined than the remainder. A longitudinal slot takes the blade 3 and a rear slot 10 receives the link 9 with the follower 2. A horn-shaped projection 8 is arranged in advance of the blade. The follower is also rectangular in front, but gradually assumes an arc-shape towards the rear. It also tapers longitudinally for about half its length. Both mole and follower if of cast iron are preferably chilled at the base. Specification 302,576, [Class 6 (i)], is referred to.
