Abstract

567,520. Reflectors. PHILLIPS, W. J. Aug. 22, 1944, No. 15983. [Class 97 (i)] An appliance for enabling a person in a supine position to view objects at a considerable angle from the direct line of sight comprises two plane reflectors M, M<2> held above the viewer's eyes, with the line of intersection of their planes substantially horizontal, by means of an overhanging framework 8. The objects are seen as a result of successive reflections by M and M2. As shown, the reflectors are held by thumb nuts on screwed pins passing through slots in bars 5, which are pivotably mounted on the frame 8, so that the angle and distance between the reflectors can be adjusted, or they can be moved together. The frame 8 is telescopically carried by a standard 10 mounted on a wheeled base 1.
