[Class 38 (ii)] An inductance or transformer has a three limbed core, the cross-sections of the three limbs having the relative proportions 1, 2, 1 and the dimensions of the windings being determined by special formulµ in accordance with the cross-section of the limbs and the coefficient of maximum economic winding for a particular frequency band.
