Abstract

564,921. Air filters. MARSTON, C. C. Jan. 12, 1943, No. 16692/44. Divided out of 564,161. [Class 8 (ii)] A sleeve filter is constructed of elastic webbing throughout its whole length and shaken mechanically, e.g. by a cam 12 acting on the resiliently mounted platform 8 which forms one end of the filter. The Provisional Specification states that the material may be inelastic and associated with a coiled spring connected to rigid parts the fabric may in this case be slack with pleats.
