[Class 65 (ii)] A joint for adjustable holders for electric lamps &c. comprises a pair of apertured discs c, d at the end of one tubular member a of the holder, and a similar pair e, f at the end of another member b, the disc c fitting against e and the disc d against f, with the interposition of friction washers k. A twopart bolt g, h is passed through the discs and washers and also through two annular distance pieces o, p provided with a friction washer t between them and with large apertures q for the passage of the flex n. The members o, p have shanks r which enter the tubes a, b.
