[Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iii)] [Also in Group XVIII] A transparent disc 14, Fig. 2, fitting closely around an electric light bulb B is formed with a bevelled or V-shaped edge 15 so as to produce a halo of light surrounding the bulb when viewed in the direction A. The disc may be carried by a flanged washer member 25 fitting over the base of the bulb B and resting on its screw shell 12. Fig. 5 shows another construction in which an irregularly shaped cup 30 fitting around the bulb B is formed with a bevelled peripheral edge 31. The surface of the cup may be perforated or enclosed with ridges to produce additional lighting effects.
