[Class 118 (ii)] Relates to a signalling lamp of the kind which is directed towards the receiving point by means of a sighting- device, and messages are flashed by an electric lamp the circuit of which is controlled by a finger-operated key switch. According to the invention, a number of small-power electric lamps are used instead of a single lamp of high power in order to obtain quick extinction of the light when the circuit is opened and thus increase the rapidity of signalling. Each lamp bulb X is placed at the focal point of a small mirror M, and the mirrors are arranged symmetrically and so fixed that the rays from all the bulbs are parallel. The keyswitch D is secured to the back of the lamp case, and sights E, E<SP>1</SP> are fixed to the top of the case.
