Abstract

542,976. Building blocks. CLARE, G. E. Aug. 1, 1940, No. 12442. [Class 87 (i)] Building blocks for walls &c. with undercut grooves 22 along their meeting faces for keying the motor therein have these meeting faces 21 of generally re-entrant shape so that the boundary edges 27 outside the grooves converge and meet at 26 and a space 34 is provided between the opposed groove separating ribs 25. Fig. 4 shows a similar block with a rebate 28 forming a panel 29 giving the effect of an applied tile or serving for keying facing plaster.
