Abstract
530,816. Controlling aircraft. JUNKERS FLUGZEUG - UND - MOTOREN - WERKE AKT.-GES. July 4, 1939, No. 19433. Convention date, July 8, 1938. [Class 4] A deflecting vane 2 for braking when nosediving is intersected by slots 3 which afford openings for the flow in the direction of flight when the vane is folded, from the operative position shown in Fig. 1 into the inoperative shown in Fig. 3, on the wall of the wing. The sections 4 of the vane have extensions 5 adapted to pass through slots in the wing and be secured to a common shaft 7.
