[Class 60] In a device for stropping safety razor blades the blade is located on a strip H having projections Q to engage the holes in the blade and is held thereon by a spring plate I with catch J. Lugs G on the strip pass through slots F in a cam plate E fitted with a handle. 'A pivot C carried by the lugs G passes through holes in lugs B carried by a curved frame A, the edges of which pass under lugs P and over lugs O on the plate E to connect the frame and plate so that the frame has a limited lateral movement due to the friction of the strop that passes under the pivot C and over the curved parts of the frame, This movement causes the lugs G to tilt the strip H and thus press the blade on to the strop.
