Abstract

534,059. Envelopes. REINEMAN, H. H. Dec. 21, 1939, No. 32694. Convention date, Dec. 22, 1938. [Class 146 (ii)] Dispensing envelopes for pills or capsules have an unsealed dispensing opening which is folded down to underlie a retaining flap extending from the free edge of one of the envelope walls. The envelope blank is folded about the lines 13, 14, 21 with a sealed overlap 18, one wall 16 being extended beyond the line 24 to form the flap 23. The sealing-flap 27 when secured follows the outline of flap 23 to reinforce it. The front and rear walls 32, 35 of the dispensing opening have convex and concave edges 33, 34 and a crease 38 to facilitate folding under flap 23.
