Abstract
521,900. Aircraft; cars. PORSCHE, F. Nov. 26, 1938, No. 34515. Convention date, Jan. 15. [Class 4] [Also in Group XXXII] In a vehicle or aircraft body having an internal wall 2 extending at an angle to a main body wall 1 in order to cover the edge of the body lining 5, in the vicinity of the wall 2, a strip 3 of resilient material, e.g., rubber or artificial resin, is provided which is pressed by the wall 2 against the wall 1 to maintain the edge of the lining in a concealed position. The edge of the lining may be formed as shown in Fig. 2, into a loop 10 co-operating with a recess in the strip 3 or, as shown in Fig. 3, the lining may be bent back on itself under the strip at 11, adhesively secured to the part 7 of the strip, and then extended to project with the wall 2 into a groove 4 in the strip.
