521,409. Valve generating circuits. KOLSTER-BRANDES, Ltd., and TEDHAM, W. F. Nov. 15, 1938, No. 33190. [Class 40 (v)] The amplitude of the output of an amplifier supplying beam deflecting currents to the coils of a cathode ray tube is controlled by varying an impedance R2 across the primary of the transformer T coupling the anode circuit of the valve to the scanning coils of an associated cathode ray tube, the transformer being connected between the anode and the cathode of the valve as shown in Fig. 3 or directly in the plate circuit as shown in Fig. 2.
