Abstract
528,065. Alloys. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. April 21, 1939. No. 12090. Convention date, April 23, 1938. [Class 82 (i)] Zinc alloys, particularly for engravers' plates, contain 0.05-0.4 per cent. of aluminium, and 0.0004-0.009 per cent. of magnesium, the remainder being zinc of at least 99.85 per cent. purity, preferably at least 99.99 per cent. In making the alloys, aluminium may be introduced as an alloy of 1 part of aluminium and 2 parts of zinc, and magnesium as an alloy of 1 part of magnesium and 10 parts of zinc.
