527,232. Alloys. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 4, 1939, No. 10505. Convention date, April 8, 1938. Drawings to Specification. [Class 82 (i)] An alloy particularly for electric switch contacts consists of copper with up to 10 per cent. of lead and up to 5 per cent, of selenium. Up to 10 per cent. of the copper may be replaced by a metal such as silver. The alloy may be made by adding an alloy of 80 per cent. of lead and 20 per cent. of selenium to molten copper.
