Abstract
526,192. Hair-curlers. ROLLOCURL CORPORATION. March 9, 1939, No. 7719. Convention date, March 22, 1938. [Class 131] In a hair curler wherein the hair, after being clamped by a spring-pressed pivoted clip 13 and wound on a tube 12, is transferred to a hairpin 23, one limb 21 of the hairpin is introduced through an aperture 20 into an axial recess 18 in the tube 12 of such a length that the end 23 of the hairpin is exposed for manipulation, the cap 19 being shaped so as to spread the limbs 21, 22. Comb teeth 11 may be provided on an extension of the curler. Fig. 8 shows a metal tubular curler 25 attached to the handle 29 of a comb which supports a resilient pin 31 serving to clip the hair against the tube, the hairpin being inserted through an end aperture 27.
