Abstract
513,402. Saucepan &c. handles. BANKS & DAVIS, Ltd., and DAVIS, H. April 11, 1939, No. 10927. [Class 66] A cooking vessel handle of moulded material is provided with one or more longitudinally disposed reinforcement strips 4 of fabric impregnated with the moulding material, and moulded in place; the strips may be situated at the bases of recesses 6 formed in the upper and lower faces of the grip portion. The handle may be moulded with a socket'part 15 adapted to be engaged by correspondingly shaped channelled sheet metal attachment members 12, 13, subsequently joined together by bending the edges of one part over those of the other. The fabric strips and the metal reinforcement 20, if provided, may extend into the socket part.
