Abstract

510,837. Endless chain elevators. WHITE, A. F. Oct. 17, 1938, No. 30055. [Class 78 (i)] In a continuous flow elevator of the kind in which the flights 13 substantially fill the crosssection of the rising leg 1 of the casing, each flight is secured rigidly to a hanger 12 which is pivoted to a short arm 11 formed integral with a link of the chain 8. The flights are tilted by engagement with the teeth of a sprocket wheel 7 to discharge any material remaining on them. Specification 458,465 is referred to.
