519,601. Packing tumblers &c. JOHNSEN & JORGENSEN FLINT GLASS, Ltd., and AUSTIN, C. N. Nov. 3, 1938, No. 31899. [Class 18] Glassware, earthenware, chinaware and other frangible articles such as tumblers, are packed by nesting them one within another and holding them in openings bordered by resilient tongues 14 in platforms 15, the lowermost platform 12 being of inverted V-form as shown, and the whole being enclosed in a carton or package. The tongues may be formed by slitting or moulding, and they may be formed in separate pieces arranged on the. platforms. Struts may be arranged between the platforms.
