519,511. Ice-cream. ALEXANDER, P. Dec. 22, 1938, No. 37302. Drawings to Specification. [Class 28 (i)] Ice-cream is made by aerating an ice-cream mix by means of a gas, such as carbon dioxide, and then freezing the aerated mix, e.g., in a domestic refrigerator. The ingredients may consist of 5 ounces of double or whipping cream, 2¢ ounces of milk, and 2¢ ounces of sweetened condensed milk, together with flavouring. The mixture is aerated in a device of the type comprising a closed container provided with means for puncturing a gas cartridge, the aerated mixture being discharged through a valve and a spout into the freezing-pan of a refrigerator.
