Abstract
514,937. Coffee percolators. WEIL, O. May 19, 1938, No. 4009. [Class 129] A coffee percolator in which the hot water is separated from the coffee has the water fed on to the coffee through elongated passages 12 in each of which is a pin 13 so that the water flows along thin annular channels. The percolator 8 has a heat insulating cover and is screwed on to the neck of a coffee pot 6 also covered with heat insulation 5. To control the flow an air vent 17, Fig. 4, with an adjustable needle 16 is provided in the filling stopper 9 of the percolator. The percolator pins have hook ends 14 to rest on the bottom of the water container. The water container can be provided with a float indicator, and may have an electric heater which on removal allows the percolation to begin.
