Abstract
514,432. Alloys. BRITISH DRIVERHARRIS CO., Ltd., and KAY, W. M. May 2, 1938, No. 13011. [Class 82 (i)] A nickel-chromium alloy free from iron comprises 15-30 per cent. of chromium and over 3 and up to 6 per cent. of silicon, part of the nickel, but so that there is always more than 50 per cent. present, being replaceable by one or more of the metals cobalt, tungsten, vanadium, molybdenum, zirconium, manganese, uranium, alkaline earth metals, and rare earth metals. According to the Provisional Specification, iron may also be present.
