[Classes 92 (i) and 92 (ii)] An ammunition bolt or chain for conveying cartridges end to end from a stack in a box or drum to the gun breech comprises links each formed of a base 1 on which the cartridge stands and a longitudinal support 2 with cartridge clips 4, 3, a stirrup 6, hinged to the support of one link, being provided for loose engagement with a flexible member .t attached to the support of an adjacent link. A cross-piece 7 on the stirrup acts as a tightener for the member 6. A buffer 8 is provided under the base of each link.
