[Class 94 (ii)] A closing device for the mouths of paper bags &c. comprises a wave-like or zigzag-like strip a of inelastic wire folded over with the bag mouth, the ends of the wire being bent back upon the bag side. The wire a is preferably enclosed in a paper band c, seamed longitudinally, and may include a bag carrying string e which may be sealed at f.
