Abstract

504,228. Draught - excluders. BRADLEY, R. N. May 27, 1938, No. 15839. [Class 20 (iii)] A draught-excluder for a door comprises a resilient strip 8 with tapered edge 81 and shouldered portion 82 loosely enclosed in a groove 9 of a bar 10 secured to the door. The strip may be inserted or removed endwise, the end of the groove being closed when required by a pivoted plate 14, Fig. 4. The door may be rabbeted to receive a bar 10 of such form that the bar is flush with the door. The tapered edge 81 of the strip may be formed with ribs to increase the friction between the strip and the floor &c.
