Abstract
492,511. Decoys. BURKE, R. ST. G., and RAYMOND. R. J. March 24, 1938, No. 9062. [Class 5 (i)] A decoy comprises a flat cut-out silhouette representing, for example, a pigeon, and provided with an integral or rigidly attached tongue 2 to be forced into the ground. The decoy may be vertical, as shown, or it may be in the form of a profile of a plan of a pigeon and held on the ground by a pin passed through an eyelet. In any case, the decoy is painted to represent the natural colouring.
