Abstract
499,979. Saxophones. KOHLERT, E. Sept. 15, 1937, No. 25100. [Class 88 (ii)] In a saxophone the fulcra 3 of the keys 2 of the notes F, E, D, played by the index, middle and ring fingers of the right hand are turned towards, and the fulcra 6, 6a of the keys 2 of the notes D# and C played by the little finger are turned away from, the knuckles, to reduce the sliding movement of the fingers on the keys. The stopper for D# may be placed on the inside of the curve of the body as shown. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 199,237, [Class 88 (ii)].
