[Class 78 (i)] [Also in Group XVII] A screw stopper selecting and rejecting mechanism comprises two guide rails A, A<1> spaced apart for the passage of the screw portions b of the stoppers and provided with ledges D for supporting the heads B, along which the stoppers are fed with heads up and heads down at random, a reciprocating ejector F being arranged to transfer stoppers with the screw portion uppermost to the shoot G, whereas those with the screw portion downwards are retained by a guide rail D when acted upon by the ejector, and pass on.
