[Class 110 (iii)] In an elastic-fluid reaction turbine, shown in the Figure as of the outward-flow oppositelyrunning rotor type, the blades 1<11>, 8<11> are disposed forwardly relatively to the blade carriers 1, 8, so that leakage fluid passing the packings 10 enters the main fluid stream without forming eddies. The edges of the blade carriers are rounded.
