[Class 78 (ii)] [Also in Groups X and XIV] A casing for sash-balancing springs for use on windows, doors, and the like, as disclosed in Specification 476,690, is secured to the window or like frame by brackets having two plate-portions 34, engaging the faces of the casing and a lug 37 for attachment to the frame. One or both faces of the casing has a raised part engaging the bracket to prevent rotation. The plateportions 34 are attachable to either face of the casing.
