488,934. Photographic cameras. ARTIMA (LONDON), Ltd. Jan. 15, 1937, No. 1275. Convention date, Jan. 21, 1936. [Class 98 (i)] Film spool supports are fitted into position by the engagement of bent resilient tongues thereon with cavities in the casing of the camera or similar apparatus. As shown in Fig. 3, the support 7 of tempered steel carries tongues 7a adapted to be pressed into engagement with cavities in the casing, and has arms 7c to hold the spool and a tongue 7b serving as a spool brake. As shown in Fig. 4, the spool holders 9c may be carried on a removable iron plate 9 having a curved surface 9b over which the film passes and carrying tongues 9a engaging grooves in the casing. The casing of the apparatus may be of moulded material and the invention may be applied to advertising apparatus.
