Abstract

487,211. Atomizers. CURRY, H. E. Jan. 11, 1938, No. 896. [Class 69 (iii)] An atomizer, more particularly for medical use, comprises a substantially globular container provided with an outlet 6 for atomized liquid and an inlet 13 for compressed air opposite the outlet divided towards a capillary tube 16, the lower end of which is immersed in the liquid and the upper end in line with the air jet, and having a barrier 20 mounted in line with the jet of atomized liquid. The barrier 20 may be spherical and provided with a stem by which unatomized liquid is directed to the bottom of the container.
