Abstract
A lead alloy comprises 0,001-0,25 per cent of tellurium and 0,06-0,1 per cent of copper. The alloy may be prepared by adding lead alloys containing respectively 4 per cent of tellurium and 2 per cent of copper alternately or together to a bath of molten lead. The alloy may be employed for sheets, pipes, cable sheaths, castings, or homogeneous linings and for welding lead and lead alloys. Specifications 326,818, [Class 82 (i)] and 414,606 are referred to.
