Abstract

470,409. Dinner wagons. BESWAY MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and LOUIS, E. S. Feb. 13, 1936, No. 4428. [Class 52 (iii)} In a dinner wagon with upper and lower shelves interconnected by parallel motion linkage and movable into the same plane to form a table, the points of pivotal connection of the links to the supporting frames are situated on arms offset from the links so that the latter can lie behind the frame members. In the preferred form, straight links 8 with offsets 11 are employed at one side and cranked links 14 at the other. Spring counterbalancing means 12 and locking bolts engaging holes 25, 26 in the links are provided.
