[Class 70] [Also in Group XII] A vulcanizing or like heat-treatment chamber is provided with a fan c which draws air. steam or gas through openings in a conduit in the bottom of the chamber, and over steam or electrically heated elements f, discharging it through openings in a conduit at the top of the vessel, both sets of openings being controlled by valves u, r, capable of simultaneous adjustment, by the hand wheels v<1>, s<1> the individual flaps being adjustable by varying the setting of the links r<1>. Heating elements w, w<1> may be provided in the walls or under the perforated floor of the chamber. The heating &c. may be regulated by a thermostat.
