Abstract

476,186. Toothbrushes. MORRISON, R. June 17, 1936, No. 16835. [Class 19] A brush for cleaning artificial dentures comprises a shank a of celluloid, ebonite, synthetic resin, or other suitable material, bent over at one end b and hollowed out at c, so that the part b can be passed over the upstanding part of the denture which comes outside the wearer's gums. Bristles d enter the inwardly curved part above the teeth and can be scoured by a sideways movement of the brush. Bristles e are provided for cleaning the teeth and flatter portions of the denture.
