Abstract
469,135. Combination garments. FEATHERS, Ltd., S. L. & M., and FEATHER, M. Feb. 10, 1936, No. 3960. [Class 141] A combination garment comprises a jacket or coat A provided at its lower edge with a strip or strips c of sliding-clasp or other fasteners enclosed by flaps D, D<1> and adapted to engage a further strip or strips c<1> of similar fasteners extending around the upper edge of a skirt or trousers B, the fasteners c<1> on the trousers &c. being concealed when not in use by a flap or flaps D<2> extending from the inside of the garment over the fasteners to the outside where they are secured by press studs d, at the same time exposing buttons b<1> to which braces may be attached. The flaps D, D<1> are adapted to be secured together by press studs d2 when the jacket is worn separately, and the flaps D are adapted to be secured to the garment by press studs d<3> when the jacket is combined with the trousers &c., the flaps D<2> in this case being secured inside the trousers &c. by press studs d<1>. In a modification, the outer flap on the upper garment may be made of elastic material or it may contain an elastic band.
