Abstract

466,145. Vehicle windows. PRESSED STEEL CO., Ltd., and SPEED, E. Nov. 29, 1935, No. 33134. [Class 20 (iii)] A vertically-movable vehicle window is guided by one or more studs or the like 26, 27 on the bottom rail or on a bracket 25 attached to it engaging channel-section slotted guides 29, 30 secured to the body. The studs and guides may be provided at the front and rear edges, and replace one or both window guides. The studs are preferably off-set relative to each other and to the plane of the window. The guides may be adapted to give an initial ventilation opening by means of a horizontal movement. The window regulator may be of any suitable kind.
