Abstract
453,975. Denture containers. PARIZOT, G., Adolfsberg, Stockholm. Sept. 17, 1935, No. 25785. Convention date, Oct. 22, 1934. [Class 81 (i)] A device for holding dentures when not in use and for removing soft tartar and bacteria therefrom by treatment with a cleaning liquid, comprises a liquidtight container 1 fitted with a removable holder having means for retaining the dentures in place. The holder may consist of a base-plate 4 having uprights 5 which are connected by a yoke 6 and serve as guides for a sliding frame 8 held in adjusted position by friction or by springs or screws. The denture is held against the base 4 by means of helical springs 10 or by leaf springs, rubber bands or elastic cushions mounted on the frame 8, or by elastic bands directly engaging, and adjustable along, the uprights 5. A spring 11 on the yoke 6 bears against the lid 2 of the container. The base 4 may have lateral shoulders to prevent lateral movement of the dentures. In a modification the frame 8 may be mounted on rotatable screw spindles.
