Abstract
453,055. Stud fastenings. ROHRS, J., Schenefeld, Hamburg, Germany. March 4, 1935, No. 6826. [Class 44] The female member of a stud fastening has an annular rib f forming an inclined wedging surface, over which the plate portion d of the male member is slid to lock the head c of the latter member in the arched portion b of the female member after the head c has been passed through an insertion opening e and beneath projections i The annular rib is interrupted to form guide surfaces g. In the first form, Figs. 1 and 2, the bottom of the female member is arched downwardly at h to form the insertion opening and the edges of the arched portion b, adjacent the insertion opening, form the projections i In a modification, Figs. 6 and 7, the edges of the insertion opening e are drawn upwards to form the projections i. Locking may also be obtained by internal projections i<1>. Fig. 11, in the arched portion b at the height of the greatest diameter of the stud head c. The members may have round or polygonal plates, which may be ornamented.
