Abstract

Camphor is mixed with polymerized 2-chlorbutadiene 1, 3, as a plasticizer. It may either be milled in or incorporated in a solution or dispersion of the polymer, for, e.g. use as a printer's blanket. The composition, which may contain natural rubber and compounding ingredients, may be vulcanized with or without addition of sulphur.
